2011 already?!

Well, we made it through the Holidays!!! It's hard to believe it is already 2011... really hard to get used to writing it even more ;) We hope everyone had fun filled Holidays with family and friends. For us, it was more of a time to reflect... it was a reflection of how things used to be, and how things will never be again. There is so much pain, loss and illness surrounding our family right now. Holidays just weren't the same this year, past year should I say... It really makes you realize just how much you take little things for granted. We get accustomed to life.... routine,  and we just assume without being aware that it will always be that way. Then all of a sudden when people aren't there anymore, or they are terminally ill, or laid up in bed paralyzed with a brain injury, it's at that moment you realize all the times you've shared together and you just want them back so bad, but hard as you try, it could never happen. You must take it as a lesson learned... always cherish the times you have with your loved ones... never go to bed angry... and always remember to say I love you!!!

On a lighter note, we have been back in the swing of things, after a small break... working  on our shop"Tickle Your Fanci"
http://www.etsy.com/shop/tickleyourfanci  We will be posting some new things soon. We've been having really awesome new ideas pop out of nowhere!! We are sure it will impress!!! We hope you visit our shop! We must go now and get to work on those "awesome" ideas before they leave our mind ;) We wish you all a wonderful and Blessed day!!

Family and Business

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well! We really wish we have better news each time we log in, but it seems as though life throws more our way each and every time. We have been struggling so much within the family with severe illness, and we are only getting new word of more illness. We are still in shock that all of these things can actually happen all at once within one family, but have definitely been proven that it is possible! Thank God that we are a close family, because without that we would all just fall apart, even though sometimes even that is hard to not do under these circumstances. We believe strongly in the power of prayer! We have seen it work miracles with our own eyes!!! When will things get back to normal seems to be the question we ask on a daily basis, but always come to the reality that things will never be back to normal, and we must just accept that.

Well, moving on to a much happier note :) Due to all of this, we have not stopped our business "Tickle your Fanci" We are still very much involved and stay very busy with it! I you have not yet checked out our shop, we invite you to come check it out @

TGIF

Thank God it's Friday!!! Actually, we really should take time out to thank God for so much more... for the health that we take for granted, for family to love us, for the jobs we have during rough times, for a home to live in, and so much more. It seems as though our family has been struck so hard and tragically over the past couple of years, but we are still here. We awake, take a breath each morning, and lately only hope and pray for things not to go wrong, it seems. Through all of this, our business "Tickle your Fanci" keeps us busy and our minds off of things. We have still been busy at work with all sorts of projects and we invite you to come and take a look at our shop at .. http://www.etsy.com/shop/tickleyourfanci

We hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend!!!

Back to business

Well, after sharing the Holidays with the family and remembering all that we have to be thankful for, it is back to work. We hope you all had a good, safe Thanksgiving! We have so much to do this week, we are just swamped. We've been working on some new ideas! We've got to keep you all anxious  and not the same ol', same ol' all the time ;)  We take pride in our work. We are Aunt and Niece, and we make a great team. We are both in some ways "perfectionists" which is great for you guys, but not so much for us ;) Well, we have  a showcase we are getting ready for, so we will go for now. Talk soon!!! :)

Holidays with us

Can you believe that after staying up half the night working on our website,  one of our computers went out! First thing this morning (functioning on a mere few hours of sleep) we had to take it to the shop, so now we are one computer short! At least tomorrow we can get together with the family for Thanksgiving. There are so many things we should be thankful for, but sometimes seem to forget, as there is so much illness surrounding us. We have a very close family, but one family member has stage 4 lung cancer. We are grateful that he will be joining us at the dinner table this year, but keeping in mind that Saturday he will be back for another round of chemotherapy. Our table WILL be short one very special family member. Unfortunately this will be the second year that the table will be short of her. It has been a struggle for her and things have not been looking up for her lately.

There are many  things to do to get ready for tomorrow, so we want to take time now to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving... and we will be extra thankful this year, as we know things can always be worse, and you never know what tomorrow may bring.....

Late night or early morning, your pick!

Hello everyone! Believe it or not we are up at 1am working on our website! Sorry it's been almost a week since our last blog, but things have been kinda of crazy around here! We have family members that are sick and a lot of our time has been spent with them. As we have said before spending time with family is very important to us. Now we are getting ready for Turkey Day! We hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Be sure to check out our shop for new and exciting items we are continuously posting!
